Our story is...
His Story

A King's Daughter was birthed from two loves of owner and lead designer, Emily Kessie, Jesus and jewelry. Jewelry is that piece of your wardrobe that always fits and Jesus is who and where you can always fit in even when the world tells you, you can't.

In her youth, she fell in love with jewelry watching her Gramma Billie clothe in the beauty of her jewels. But, that love grew more intense as she grew into a woman herself. Unaware of the creativity that lived within her, Emily moved as a missionary to South Africa, in 2010, years after she gave her life to Christ.

The vibrant colors and craftsmanship of the country and overall continent resonate in the designs of her jewelry today. But, the most important part of Africa she brought home with her is her Ghanaian husband. After returning to the states, happily married, Emily and Samuel began their family and now have 3 children.

Fast Forward to 2015, in the wee hours of the morning, in dim light, from above their dining room table, a vision was born among a handful of beads and the creativity driven out of her when Emily became a mother to her oldest son, and has grown with each child since.

As she attributes the beauty she creates to her 3 children, she also intentionally encourages her own children to rise up in order to discover and showcase the gifts and talents that God created in them.

And thus, A King's Daughter was born from the from the scripture 1 Peter 2:9-10

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."

Today A King's Daughter is making Jewels and Loving Jesus and sharing it with the world!

So, shall we shop?
